Richard Virgil Tucker

Richard (Rick) Virgil Tucker of Hitchita, OK joined his family and loved ones in heaven on April 14th, 2023 surrounded by his sisters Angie Walkup and Misty McCracken. Rick was born on February 2nd, 1966 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Richard and Barbara Tucker. He was employed as a professional painter most of his life and he loved it especially when working with his cousin Jerry Patterson. Rick had many lifelong friends which he embraced as family. In his spare time he enjoyed tinkering with just about anything he could get his hands on, spending time with Donna, his friends and family, and his fur baby that he loved very much, Bruno. He had a huge heart and when he loved you, he loved you with his whole heart for a lifetime. He will be greatly missed by both friends and family.

Rick was preceded in death by his beloved mother Barbara Tucker, grandparents Virgil (Bud) and Bea Patterson, Harding and Dollie Boyd, baby sister Lorene Gail Tucker and many beloved aunts and uncles. He is survived by his longtime companion Donna Tuell, his father Richard Tucker Hawkins and his wife Judith. Sisters Angie Walkup and Misty McCracken and her husband Jim. Nephews and nieces Tyler and Kelsey Coleman, Colby Tucker, Cheyanne Tucker, Hailey and James Granger, Seth Walkup and Kenzie Cowan. Great nephews and nieces Jakob Tucker, Brynlee and Emilee Tucker. Aunts and uncles Judy and Jim Nixon, Larry and Brenda Patterson, Patricia and Darrell Parent. Honorable mention of his cousin Jerry Patterson and his friend Jerry Markcloud Sr., who Rick considered his brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28th at 2PM in the chapel at Smith Funeral Home,1208 S Mian St, Sapulpa
