Paula G. Smith September 8, 1945- May 7, 2023
Paula Glenn Smith, 77, passed on May 7, 2023 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Paula was born on September 8, 1945 to Juanita(Casper) and Harold Smith in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She graduated high school in Tonkawa in 1963 and became an LPN at the hospital in Blackwell, OK at the age of 17. She later completed her RN at NOC in Tonkawa in 1975. She worked in the Intensive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical Floor, but most of all, loved Labor & Delivery. She retired from nursing in the late 90s but always kept up her nursing license. Paula loved to garden, do crafts and sew, especially her daughters and grandchildren's Halloween costumes.
She is survived by her daughters; Jennifer Smith Johnson Dodson and Jana Smith, son-in-law; Scott Dodson, grandchildren; Christian Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Gabrielle Johnson, Isaiah Smith, Kyleigh McKenzie, Keeley Grace Hudson, Drue Johnson, Alexys Dodson, Madison Dodson, great-grandchildren; Brinlee Johnson, Oaklynn Johnson, Zayland Smith, Payton Johnson, Jackson Johnson, William Roberts, DeeJay Roberts.
Siblings; Sue Smith Brown, Tammy Smith,Wanda Smith(sister-in-law), Mike Smith, Debbie Smith Slavens, Judy Austin & Joyce Dawkins and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, H.E., Joe, Larry, sister, Kathy Smith and nephew, Larry Lee Smith II.
