Obituary

Mary Jo Schultz of Mannford, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2023, at the age of 94. Mary Jo was born on May 27, 1928, in Shidler, Oklahoma to Ruby Lois Rice Lamb and Elijah Forest Lamb. Mary Jo married Harold Lee Schultz on March 11, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had four children, Mary Kathryn, James Lee, Martin Frederick and Michael Dean Schultz.
Mary Jo is preceded in death by her husband Harold (Dutch), son James Lee, daughter Mary Kathryn Wamser, brother Elija Forest Lamb, Jr. and sister Ella Mae Lamb Feldkamp.
She is survived by her two sons, Fred Schultz and wife Betty of Bristow, Oklahoma, Mike Schultz and wife Carolyn of Mannford, Oklahoma, son-in-law George Wamser of Coral Springs, Florida, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren. Aside from God almighty, family was and always has been the most important thing in her life.
She had a deeply caring and compassionate heart and soul and was always willing to give a helping hand. Anyone that met her loved her and she loved them back just as much if not more.
Mary Jo enjoyed writing poems, reading, going to lunch with family, talking politics, playing dominos and cards.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made on her behalf to St Jude’s. This was her favorite charity.
The family will be having a service at Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa, OK on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 10:00 am. She will be interned at Spavinaw -Strang Cemetery, Mayes County, Oklahoma, at 1:30.
