Lavania Mae DeMoss

On May 6, 1941, the world received a beautiful gift in the form of a baby girl, Lavania Mae Thomas, born to Hazel and Frank Thomas in Borger, TX. Her love of others and her firm love of Jesus began early in life and she never waivered from her dedication to her Lord. In fact, when she met the man of her dreams in 1958, it was clear that he would always be 2nd to her first love, Jesus. Perry DeMoss did not mind this and asked for her hand in marriage. They were married on December 23, 1959. 
On October, 1960, they had their first child, Lorna. In November, 1963, they then had their son, Darryl. Then, surprise, in August, 1970, they had twins – Lajeana and Anjeana.
Lavania (known as Bonnie) and Perry enjoyed 63 years of marriage together.

Bonnie is proceeded in death by her parents and her siblings (Wanda, Dorothy, and Dennis), by Perry’s brothers and sisters (Gail, Don, Neil, Ann), her nephew Lonnie, and her granddaughter Alaina.

She has left a huge group of family to celebrate her life. This includes her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even a couple great great grandchildren. Then, the extended family and in-laws are just too great to list. We also think of all her great friends, both in and out of Church, that provided her with great times and pleasure.
She greatly loved them all. Her smile, charm, compassion and a little sassiness will be greatly missed.
