Obituary

Kathy Negelein, 63, of Sapulpa, stepped into heaven on January 4th, 2023, at St. John Medical Center Tulsa, with her husband Ken, and sister Diana, by her side.

Kathy was born October 26th, 1959 to Kenneth Jack Riley and Mina Alice Sherman, and was the youngest of thirteen children. She lived most of her life in Sapulpa, playing basketball and hanging out with her friends.

She met Bill Whinery, and of this union her two daughters, Kimberly and Pamela, were born. She later met and married Ken Negelein, and gained a stepson, Jeff.

She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church of God. She enjoyed her pets, bingo, old westerns, and sitcoms. She had an immense love for family, especially her two daughters, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ken, of the home. Daughters; Kim Shepherd and Pam Whinery. Stepson; Jeff. Nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and the twelfth on the way, Two sisters, two brothers, and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and three brothers.

Services will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 11:00am at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
