Obituary

Frank Johnson, 85, of Oakhurst went to be with the Lord on March 29,2022 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Frank was born December 26,1936 in Wewoka to Lucinda Walkingstick. He was employed by Midwestern as an industrial painter, and retired after 36 years.
Frank graduated from Chilocco Indian School and served his country in the Army National Gaurd.
Frank met and later married the love of his life Bertha Harjo. They were married for 33 years.
Frank was a member of Oakhurst Indian Fellowship Baptist Church. He enjoyed his time at the scout hole, bingo and driving his riding lawnmower.

Frank is proceeded in death by his Wife Bertha Harjo (Johnson), Mother Lucinda Walkingstick, Brothers Daniel Walkingstick, Edward Walkingstick, Sister Leona Harjo & Daughter Donna Johnson.

Frank is survived by his children, Cynthia McElroy, Maddie Johnson, Joy Johnson, Francine Johnson, Anthony Johnson and Charles Johnson, 21 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren, Brother Roman Johnson, Sisters, Wynema Williams, Rowen Johnson, and Irene Creek, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
