Eulaine Ellen Sloan passed away Tuesday, September 21 at Hillcrest Hospital South Tulsa Ok, due to complications of Covid 19. She was born to Charles and Mamie Wiley on August 06, 1957, in Sapulpa, OK.

She married Ronald Lewis Sloan on March 08, 1974, in Bartlesville, OK.

She is survived by husband Ronald of the home, son Aaron Sloan and fiance Tamara Wagman of Tulsa, son Brandon Sloan and wife Carla of Sapulpa, daughter Veronica Sloan of Tulsa, and granddaughters Keylee White of Broken Arrow, and Charlize Sloan of Sapulpa. Sister Joyce Green of Tulsa, brother Bobby Wiley of Sapulpa and brother Larry Ritchie of Stockdale, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Peggy Harris of Sapulpa, OK, Brother Wayne Ritchie of Stockdale, Texas and niece Amanda Willams of Tulsa.

Eulaine was a homemaker and stay at home Mom, both jobs she loved and did with all her heart, never putting herself first. She was most happy when taking care of someone. Eulaine was also a talented artist and painted many things for her family and friends. She also loved and cared for any animal that wandered into her life. She leaves behind her spoiled rotten dog Optimus.

The following stanza is from one of her favorite poems by Sam Walter Foss:

Let me live in house by the side of the road,

Where the race of men go by,

They are good , they are bad, they are weak, they are strong,

Wise, foolish-so am I.

Then why should I sit in the scorners seat, or hurl the cynics ban?

Let me live in house by the side of the road

And be a friend to man.

This sums up the way she tried to live her life. No mean or harsh words, just a kind, gentle person. She gave love freely and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be missed.
