Mr. Devin Michaelis

Devin Christopher Michaelis, 31 passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2022 at his parents home.

Devin was born on April 30, 1991 in Dallas Texas to BJ and Sheila Michaelis. He graduated from Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado - Boulder. Devin had recently relocated from Colorado to Oklahoma in October 2022.

While at Rock Canyon High School, Devin was an active participant in a number of school plays, holding leading roles and enjoying acting in front of the crowd. Devin enjoyed playing guitar, video games, and music

While Devin struggled with a mental illness, he was a caring and compassionate son who cared about others more than himself. He was loved by so many people and all will miss his infectious smile, sense of humor and wit.

Devin is now with his loving grandparents, JW and Mary Lou Parker and Gilbert and Roberta Michaelis.

He is survived by his parents BJ and Sheila Michaelis of Tulsa, one brother Jared Michaelis of Parker, Colorado and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S. Main, Sapulpa, Oklahoma 74066
