Charles Lee Stubblefield, 75 of Sapulpa, flew to meet his dear Lord, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born July 18, 1946, to Daniel and Daisy (Burns) Stubblefield in Mountain View, Oklahoma.
After graduation in 1964, Charles joined the U.S. Army and spent two years in Germany. Soon after another great thing happed to him. He met the love of his life, a lady named Lana B. Rice. They of course fell in love and were married on October 24, 1968 in the home of Jo and Jim Hyder of Sapulpa.
Charles or Charlie, as many people called him was a giving man in so many ways, too many to count. He saw good in everyone and was a true man of God.
He is survived by his lovely wife and companion in life of 52 years, Lana of the home in Sapulpa, son, Jason Stubblefield and wife, Shannon of Sapulpa, son, Solen Renzelman Jr. of Mounds, grandsons, Kyle and Ryan Stubblefield, of Sapulpa, along with a host of nephews, nieces and lifetime friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Daisy Stubblefield, sister Marie, brothers, Claude, Henry, Lawrence, Leon, Marvin and William.
There will be an open house for family and friends, Wednesday, October 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Stubblefield home, 1311 E. McKinley in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
