Obituary

Carol Sue Faught, age 60, of Broken Arrow went to be with the lord on July 23rd, 2020 while surrounded by her family.  Carol was born on March 23rd, 1960 in Tulsa to Neva and Harold Smith, she was the 5th of 9 children.  She attended Union schools and later went onto work in the bakery for both Homeland and Reasors stores.  She loved helping customers and offering kids sweet treats.  Carol was previously married to Randy Smith, they lived in Sand Springs and had two sons.  Jason Randall was born in 1979, and then Brian Layne in 1983.   Carol was a wonderful and loving Mother, and was always very proud of her boys. 

On Valentine’s Day in 2004 Carol married Garry Faught. Carol and Garry enjoyed many happy years together, and they especially loved going on fun vacations.

Carol loved her family dearly and her siblings were always her best friends.  She had a giving generous spirit, and a huge heart! She especially enjoyed time with her large family on holidays.  Carol was very proud to be a Grandmother.  

Carol was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all her friends and family!

Carol is survived by her husband Garry.

Children- Jason and daughter in law Amy, Brian and daughter in law Sarah.

Grandchildren- Jace, Avery, Callie, and Archie

Mother – Neva

Brothers- Darrell and Harold Junior.

Sisters- Peggy, Janice, Pat, and Geneva

Many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

 

Carols Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday July 28th, at 2:00pm

There will be a private viewing for family and friends on Monday July 27th from 4:00-6:00pm
