Eveline Veleta (Moss) Brown of Drumright, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 29, 2013 at the age of 91 in Mannford, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, canning, and gardening. She also loved to go to auctions. She loved spending a lot of time with all of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. She was born to James Garfield and Mary Francis (Waters) Moss on April 9, 1922 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. On November 9, 1940 she married Guess Uno Brown and they settled in Drumright and raised their children there. She is survived by one daughter; Sharolyn Kay Sisney of Mounds, grandchildren; Stan Jerome Sisney, Denny Allen Sisney, Danny Raymond Brown Jr., Rodney Douglas Brown and wife Daphne, Denae Lynn Swearingen and husband Donnie, Angela LaDon Lassiter, Kenneth Russell(Rusty) Brown, Valerie Nyree Brown, Guessina Louise Crane, Freda Jeanette Brown, Todd Allen Karre, Richard Gordon Fletcher and Tony Martin Fletcher. great grand-children; Cheyenne Wyoming Cooper, Cherokee Lynn Cooper, Billie Jean Webb, Vernon James Sisney, Serriah Annette Harrison, Noah Hunter Brown, Mahala Lynn Brown, Danielle Ina Brown, Raymond Douglas Brown, Dulton Edward Swearingen, D. Swearingen, Eric Quint Lassiter, Terrance Keith Lassiter, Travis Matthew Curry, Dylan Michael Crane, Alexandria Nicole Crane, Justice James Crane and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; James and Mary, husband; Guess Uno Brown Sr., one daughter; Francis Christina Brown, three sons; Guess Uno Brown Jr., Kenneth Oliver Brown and Danny Raymond Brown Sr. one grandson; Chad Everet Fletcher, two daughters in law; Lillian Ina Brown and Hilda Louise Brown, one son in law; Vernon Eugene Sisney, six brothers; James Harley Moss, Roy Oliver Moss, Bedford Forrest Moss, Kenneth Garfield Moss, Sylverster Moss and William L. Moss, four sisters; Mary Lilia Hood, Lillie Ellen Conway, Roberta (Moss) Stephens and Dora Marie Moss. Funeral services will be Friday, November 1, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home 1208 South Main in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville, Oklahoma. There will be no family gathering. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Smith Funeral Home to help with funeral costs.
