Ramona Lea Mellenberger Carnes

Ramona was born November 10. 1942 in Santa Clara. California. She left this world to be with her heavenly father on August 7. 2013. During her life she was an avid teacher of the bible. Touching lives of missionettes, college & career, adult bible studies, and Counseling for several years with the First Methodist Church in Tulsa. She loved doing hobbies and craft, to quote scripture, listening to preachers, singing off key, helping others, and garage sales. Later in life she began researching her Jewish heritage. She attended Praise Fellowship Church in Sapulpa. Ramona was proceeded in death by her parents Paul and Zola Mellenberger, her sister Barbara Mellenberger, and daughter Angela Beth Carnes. She is survived by her husband Larry of the home, daughters Deborah Gail Keeton, Glenna and Mitch Cole, and Lisa Renee Worthington, her Aunt Lorell Bruton of Skiatook and Uncle Jimmy Dymond of Texas as well as her grandchildren. Deborah's children: Christopher and Caleb: Glenna children: Michele, Matthew, Hunter, Marissa, Kenlea, Mitchell, and Michael: Lisa's children: Lucy, Thomas, and Natalie. And 16 Great-grandchildren. There will be a family visitation held from 3-5pm on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S. Main St., Sapulpa, OK. Pastor Gary Brown will officiate her service at10:30 am. on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S. Main St., Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, OK.
