Danny Lee Quinten, 72, of Tulsa, Ok passed away Tuesday, March 27, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, OK. Danny was born on September 30, 1939, to Grover Lindel and Dorothy (Austin) Quinten, in Sherman, Texas. Dan retired as a railroad engineer from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. Dan was a founding member and elder at Rivendell Fellowship Church in Tulsa, OK. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jackie MacRobert. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, JoEllen (True) Quinten of the home, daughter Laura Crawford and husband Brian, son Lindy Quinten and wife Jenni; brothers, Grover, “Chuck” Quinten, Bob Quinten and wife Liz, Gary Quinten, Mike Quinten and wife Terry, Ricky Quinten and wife Suzanne; sisters, Brenda Smith and husband Dusty, Gayle Ailey and husband Keith, grandchildren Brice Crawford, Caedmon Quinten, and Brinn Crawford; sister- in-law, Martha Nowland, brother-in-law, Ronnie True; nephews, Patrick Quinten, Kevin Quinten, Anthony Quinten, David Nowland, Derek Smith, Zach Ailey; nieces, Connie Sue Werner, Melissa MacRobert Billy, Stephanie Smith, Suzan Manuel, Jordan Quinten, Debbie Burling, Carol Jones, Becky McKenzie, Kim Baskin, Pam True, Melinda Nichols and at least 17 great-nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Eastwood Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK. Officiating will be the Reverends Patrick Payton, Kyle Meador, and Steve Denton. Honorary bearers will be Grover Quinten, Bob Quinten, Gary Quinten, Mike Quinten, Ricky Quinten, Brian Crawford, Chuck Misner, Chris White, Dave Harmon, Brice Crawford, Caedmon Quinten, Jon Davis, Matt Fore, Jim Rolen, Dusty Smith, Keith Ailey, Richey LoBaugh.
